Playing a round on the Ugolino course is not merely playing Golf but a memorable experience as golfers will play on a course immersed in a gentle hilly landscape and will enjoy a thrilling experience.

In 1934, an Englishman by the name of Cecil Blandford and an Irishman named Peter Gannon designed a course that is perfectly integrated in the hills surrounding Florence and the writer, Chris Santella, mentioned it in his book as one of the “Fifty places to play golf before you die”.

The course is not long but it is rather technical and players immediately realize that the natural features of the place – woods, olive trees, small greens well defended by bunkers and sloping fairways -make it very pleasant but challenging at the same time.
