AREZZO ANTIQUES FAIR
The Arezzo Antiques Fair is the most important and largest open-air Antiques Market in Italy and takes place on the first Sunday of each month and on the previous Saturday. It is a great opportunity to visit the historic centre of Arezzo, one of the most beautiful medieval cities in Tuscany, approximately 60 kilometres from Radda.
During the Antiques Fair, starting at 9am, you can stroll through two aisles of market stalls, set in the scenic Piazza Grande, and amongst the checkerboard of streets that flow off the square, and view a whole array of tantalizing objects, some of which are very valuable: unique pieces and some artistic objects, antique furnishings, arts and crafts, antique and modern jewellery, silverware, books, prints and lots more.
Do not miss a visit to the 14th Century ‘Palazzo del Capitano’, now the Ivan Bruschi House Museum, commemorating a merchant whose name is synonymous with the event and housing the best pieces of his private collection.
The September edition of this Fair will take place on Saturday 31 August and Sunday 1 September, in a unique and very different setting: the ‘Prato di Arezzo’ – the city’s historical gardens.
