WINE TOUR OF CASTELVECCHI WINERY
Private guided tour to the thousand-year-old CASTELVECCHI WINERY with a tasting for connoisseurs, normally reserved for the winemaker. You will taste the different varieties that make up the best Chianti Classico, with tastings taken directly from the barriques, using the typical „thief“ (traditional instrument used to take wine samples directly from the barrique).
Afterwards the tasting of three Castelvecchi Chianti Classico wines:

LODOLAIO Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG
MADONNINO DELLA PIEVE Chianti Classico Gran Selezione DOCG
SOLANA Toscana IGP
Paired with extra virgin olive oil on Tuscan bread and a selection of fine local cheeses and cured meats.

1. 12.30 pm – Departure from the Relais Vignale
2. 12.45 pm – Arrival at Castelvecchi winery
3. 3.30 pm – Departure from Castelvecchi winery and after 15 minutes return at the Relais Vignale
